Scuba Fin
i just got a 50 dollar morey Body Board and am going to hatteras this week. are snorkeling or scuba fins ok?
dont want to spend 50-70 dollars on bodyboarding fins if i dont need them yet.
If you already have the other fins, just use them. The reason for body boarding fins is that they're easier to kick and steer with. If you're comfortable with the Snorkeling Fins use them. They should work fine and even better when you're trying to catch waves. The problem will be with the extra work you will have to do when kicking the larger fin and the fact that they won't steer and maneuver as quickly. If you have a choice between snorkeling and scuba fins I'd go with the snorkeling fins because they're lighter and more maneuverable than the scuba fins.
