Purge Mask
Need help figuring out which suba mask to go for!!?
ok so i like the sound and reviews of this mask the Mares X-Vision Liquidskin Mask however should i be looking at masks with a purge valve? or are they kinda just extra baggage type thing? such as the Tri-View Purge Mask?

Form, fit, function and comfort is the usual rule. Low volume mask maybe a good thing, less diffraction in the water and easier to clear. A purge valve can be a benefit but you have to keep it clean or it will constantly leak on you.
A wide view is all right but a Tri-View mask is something to think about. How much of a view do you really want to see? There is so many things happening underwater to distract you and so many fish to see. Maybe you prefer selective vision?
