1999 SeaDoo XP. Should I run without gas after I drive?
I have a 1999 SeaDoo EP Limited Jet Ski, and was curious if I should turn the fuel switch to "off" and run the PWC until it shuts off after I leave the lake? I was told to do this, but do I not run the risk of damaging the motor (dry seize)? Also, even if I don't have to do it every time I ride, do I need to do this to winterize the craft?
the only time i would shut the fuel off is at the time of winterizing but to prevent the internal parts from forming corrosion spray the inside down the throat of the carburetors fogging oil to lubricate and clean the inside of the motor if you do this after you shut the fuel off you will be good for the winter
